ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC & CNSM

The London’s Royal Academy of Music and the Paris’s Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique offered two students in composition in each institution the opportunity to compose a new string quartet. Workshops over the year 2012-2013, led by Philip Cashian, Head of Composition at RAM, enabled players and composers to meet and work on the creations. One of the new works was performed in each institution during Spring 2013.
