JAMES DILLON L’EVOLUTION DU VOL – ACCROCHE NOTE

JAMES DILLON L’EVOLUTION DU VOL – ACCROCHE NOTE

The Ensemble Accroche Note welcomes Scottish composer James Dillon for a residency. Dillon is a well-known composer with whom the Ensemble has worked closely for several years (commissions, creations, concerts…). His musical aesthetic is a mix of rock, medieval and spectral music. L’évolution du vol is a small cycle of songs and instrumental works. Both music and texts aim to evoke the experience of taking off into the air. Students from HEAR and the Strasbourg conservatory will have the opportunity to study and perform James Dillon’s work with the Ensemble Accroche Note through concerts and masterclasses.
