Accroche Note welcomes for a residency Scottish composer James Dillon, a well-known composer with whom the ensemble has worked closely for several years (commissions, creations, concerts etc.). His musical aesthetic is a mix of rock, medieval and spectral music. L’Evolution du vol is a small cycle of songs and instrumental works. Both music and texts aim to evoke the experience of taking off into the air. Students from HEAR and Strasbourg conservatory will have the opportunity to study and perform James Dillon’s works with Accroche Note through concerts and masterclasses.
