ENSEMBLE AND ELECTRONICS

ENSEMBLE AND ELECTRONICS

Three newly commissioned works for ensemble and live electronics from Welsh composers Sarah Lianne Lewis, Andrew Lewis and Bethan Morgan-Williams will be showcased alongside three contemporary classics from pioneers of electronic music – Tristan Murail, Kaija Saariaho and Fausto Romitelli, who met and worked at IRCAM in Paris at the start of spectralism. Launched only a year ago, UPROAR is making a game changing impact on the performance of contemporary classical music in Wales and has already commissioned 13 new works from composers from Wales.
