Festival Ensemble(s)
In 2022, Festival Ensemble(s) will present a project in collaboration with the jazz department of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire aiming to explore the links between contemporary music and jazz. The collaboration with the Birmingham Conservatoire is part of a dynamic of bilateral transmission: the professional musicians of these five ensembles (Cairn, Court-circuit, Multilatérale, Sillages, 2e2m) have as much to learn from young performers as they have to transmit from their in-depth knowledge of the contemporary repertoire.
