The French composer Pascal Dusapin is invited by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. This collaboration consists in the commission of a new work, At Swim-Two-Birds, a double concerto for violin, cello and orchestra, which will be performed at the Royal Festival Hall in London in November 2018. The London Philharmonic Orchestra is part of a four way partnership bringing this work to the stage which also includes the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchester and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra.
