L’ensemble L’Imaginaire chose to play Richard Barrett’s creations, which explore the diversity of instrumental playing techniques. The extremely complex and demanding music of the British composer required a certain degree of exposition on the part of the ensemble and led to discussions about the works with the audience and a presentation of the original scores.
