Diaphonique would like to acknowledge the composers and artists who have agreed to become the patrons of the fund.
“Since its inception, Diaphonique has done many valuable things including helping to invite the most important figures from both countries to go to the other country, all sort of excellent projects regarding education and indeed they have helped to commission my opera “Written on skin” premiered in Aix-en-Provence festival in July 2012.
I think it is absolutely essential that this valuable and important enterprise continues long into the future so that we can continue to share our different and very valuable visions of modern music across the Channel.”
“When I was younger, I met British composers and some of them became dear friends. I have always been impressed by the British musical life, its composer’s creativity and the great diversity of musical styles existing in the UK. Diaphonique scheme gets to the point to enhance exchanges between artists from both sides of the Channel. I owe a lot to British music from the past few years, and I hope many French musicians will discover the extreme richness of what is produced across the Channel.”
