When I was younger, I came across quite a few English composers, some of whom have become very dear friends. I have always been impressed by the music scene in England, by how creative English composers are and by the staggering range of styles that happen simultaneously in that country. Diaphonique is a timely project in the sense that it consolidates an artistic relationship, and enriches an exchange between English and French artists. Personally, I owe a lot to contemporary English music and I hope that, increasingly, French musicians will explore the rich output of the English scene.
If you share our passion for music and would like to become more involved in contemporary music, then we hope you will consider joining Diaphonique. Your contribution will provide an important source of support for major Franco-British projects in the field of contemporary music.
